It really just depends on what you want and if we have the fur already or if we’ll have to go out and buy/order it. But if we already have it, it usually doesn’t take very long at all. What did you have in mind specifically? (:

xxredsquirrelxx: These are for the cat ears? Ever thought of a rainbow option?
They are the colors for everything: cat tails, fox tails, and ears. We do make rainbow, but we have to buy the colors individually and sew them together. But we can actually make any color combo. (:
xxredsquirrelxx: I would totally buy a short tail :D I love the last pattern, the red and white stripes
Awww, thank you! The maroon red is one of my favorite fur colors! I’m glad you like it as well! ♥

Decided to give the theme a little makeover. There is now a link at the top in the menu to our etsy shop so you no longer have to search for it!

Shouldn’t be any problem, I put a listing up on etsy for easier purchasing ^^
My site is actually done still (all I need are pictures left and it will be up again!) But you can send the description and all that to contact@ihateleeks.com and I can answer questions there.
A large tail, especially one that’s going to have to have its own custom patern is going to run you about $50.
As for the ears, it depends on the breed of squirrel. If you’re going for something like an eastern grey squirrel you can get away with using the original foam since they have fairly small ears. Just plain covers are going to be $15.
However if you’re wanting more of a red squirrel look you’ll probably want a slightly longer ear. Those go for $25 since I’ll have to rebuild the inner foam piece.
Shipping for it all will be around $5.
Of course! What kind of Ears are you looking for?
Anon asked about solid black bunny ears, got bored, wanted to try making an armature that would fit inside and stand up. They’re not very pretty, but it’s the first go and really wasn’t focusing on the sewing part.

Wore them around the house for a little bit, they scared the crap out of my cat xD
Black stand up rabbit ears, with rounded tips? Shouldn’t be a problem ^^
Actually yes. I ordered foam over the weekend and I’m planning on playing around with it to make different types of ears. I’ve already had one person express interest in getting a set of floppy bunny ears, but I’m also going to try and make a pair of vertical ones.

Same design as the last, just on a different color and shirt style.

The original color that this design was put on was aqua. It’s both the beauty and agitation of printing our own shirt. Good because you get the accomplishment of having a hand in every aspect of what you make. Bad because shirt suppliers tend to run out of the color you want right when you need it.

Still think it came out nicely though. Made of 100% cotton and 100% awesome.
One of the newer things we’ve been doing are tails. It started being set next to a table, in one of the many artist alleys we’ve attended, that sold tails and ears and the like and my mom (of all people) saying, “Well I could do that!”
And as they say the rest is history…
As not to step on too many toes, we try to specialize our tails into colors and varieties the bigger sellers wouldn’t really do, mainly stripes.

This is one of the few tails we have left after the fiasco of Sac Anime. It reaches about 30”, has two elastic attach bands to slip a belt through or pin with safety pins, and is made of a super plush, high quality faux fur that is lovely to cuddle.
We’re so close to being out of shirts, but here’s one of the few we have left.

It’s teen size medium, super fitted, and super soft.

If you’ve been on I Hate Leeks within the last month or so you’ll have notice it, well, hasn’t been there.
The reason:
Complete and total renovations.
IHL is getting completely revamp, with a all around new look, new stuff, and (hopefully) much more ease of use.
For now all of our updates will be listed here.
For any questions just see the ask box.
